Today was a travel day for all of us. Seven of us left MSP for our first stop, Amsterdam. Before leaving however we had a quick dinner before boarding the plane...oh yeah...and a glass of wine.
One of us left Logan for our first stop, Amsterdam. Seven of us arrived at our destination, Krakow. For those of you who can count, yes, we are missing one person. She has been found however. Seems that KLM overbooked their flight to Krakow and Nina was the lucky person to get bumped from the flight. ARGH!
The rest of us arrived around 4:15 pm after a long day of travel. We quickly checked into our hotel and freshened up to leave for dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in Krakow, Starej Kuchni (which means Old Kitchen). We sat outside on the rear patio and enjoyed our delicious traditional meals with delightful weather and no mosquitoes!
After a quick stroll through the town center square we have all decided to call it a night. Tomorrow brings an all-day walking tour of the city and meals at two more wonderful restaurants.
Nina should be dragging herself in around midnight here...
