Lovely Cracow

We had a very looooong day today in Cracow, a beautiful city and one of my favorites.

The weather could not have been more beautiful these past days...warm sunny days and mild nights...just a few raindrops. We began our day having breakfast outdoors on the square.

It was lovely to have Karen Varian's cousin, Anatoly with us for the day. He traveled here from Northern Poland, although he is originally from Ukraine.

We then met our tour guide Monika. She was very knowledgeable about the city and even after being here several times I learned some new things. Below are some photos of our tour. Pardon the fact that they are all out of order...it's almost midnight and the photos are not cooperating being moved.

Tomorrow we head out early to Slovakia. It will be a rest day for us  at the lovely resort in the Tatra Mountains. Then we are off to Bratislava making a few stops along the way. After another walking tour of Bratislava we will finally be headed to our villages...saving the best for last!!!
